Roles & Responsibilities


  • Assist with the set-up of banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, buffet stations, and d cor as instructed.

  • Support the Chef de Rang and banquet supervisors in ensuring the smooth flow of service during events.

  • Greet guests and provide attentive, friendly, and timely service throughout the function.

  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with banquet standards and guest expectations.

  • Clear plates, glassware, and service items promptly; maintain clean and organized service areas.

  • Replenish buffet items, beverages, and supplies as needed.

  • Maintain a high level of hygiene, safety, and sanitation in all working areas.

  • Assist with post-event breakdown and cleaning, ensuring the room is reset or returned to standard.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors.

  • Uphold company standards of professionalism, grooming, and guest service.
