Roles & Responsibilities
Commis Hot Preparation
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare hot food items as per recipes and kitchen standards
- Assist chefs in cooking, plating, and kitchen operations
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in hot kitchen areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Support smooth kitchen workflow during busy service hours
Commis Cold Preparation
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and cold dishes
- Assist chefs in cold kitchen operations and food presentation
- Ensure freshness and proper storage of ingredients
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in cold kitchen sections
- Follow food safety and quality standards
- Support daily mise en place and kitchen preparation tasks
Skills Required:
Teamwork and communication skillsbr> Time management and multitaskingbr> Knowledge of food hygiene standardsbr> Attention to quality and presentation
Desired Candidate Profile
2 5 years of experience in hot kitchen preparationbr> Experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering industry preferredbr> Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipmentbr> Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
2 5 years of experience in cold kitchen preparationbr> Knowledge of salads, cold dishes, and food presentationbr> Experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering services preferredbr> Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices
