Roles & Responsibilities
Are you passionate about creating irresistible pastries and desserts? We re looking for a Commis II Pastry who will assist in preparing and presenting high-quality desserts, supporting the pastry team to deliver sweet creations that meet the standards of a world-class 5-star hotel.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you ll mostly be:
Assisting in the preparation and baking of pastries, cakes, tarts, and desserts according to recipes and brand standards.
Supporting the Commis I and Pastry Chef in daily production and special event requirements.
Following precise portion controls, presentation guidelines, and quality checks.
Ensuring workstations and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at all times.
Receiving, rotating, and storing ingredients properly to maintain freshness and quality.
Assisting with stock control and reporting shortages to supervisors.
Maintaining hygiene, safety, and food handling standards at all times.
What we need from you:
Minimum 1 2 years of pastry kitchen experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury dining environment.
Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation.
Willingness to learn and take direction from senior pastry team members.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Basic proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
