The ideal candidate has solid experience in kitchen operations, strong hygiene practices, and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced casual dining environment. Responsibilities: • Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs. • Prepare fried items, salads, and basic menu components with consistency and quality. • Follow strict hygiene and food safety standards at all times. • Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and practice clean-as-you-go. • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and effectively. • Support kitchen operations during service and ensure timely food preparation. • Learn and adapt to new recipes, techniques, and kitchen systems. • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth workflow. Requirements: • Up to 5 years of experience as a Commis or in a similar kitchen role. • Strong understanding of hygiene practices and food safety guidelines. • Experience with fried items, salads, and basic mise en place. • Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions. • Flexible with timing, including weekends and shifts when required. • Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen fundamentals. • Experience working with kitchen equipment. • Previous experience in a casual dining restaurant is preferred.
