Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The MEP commissioning engineer is responsible for overseeing the commissioning of MEP projects including HVAC, HV , ELV systems, Plumping and Drainage installation & COMMISSIONING of Residential, Commercial and Industrial Buildings meeting required quality standards and satisfaction to client.


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall planning of the commissioning process.
  • Direct or coordinate with suppliers and contractors related to commissioning activities.
  • Assist, review and coordinate the creation, submission and clearance of invoices
  • Tracking of the project schedule and preparation and submission of weekly Progress reports to client, project manager and the internal teams.
  • Familiarity with UAE and regional building codes, and commissioning standards.
  • Able to create commissioning Logs & Material submittals related to commissioning process

Desired Candidate Profile


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing commissioning of MEP projects.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing MEP projects
  • CSA Grade 3 qualified, desirable but not essential
  • Commissioning certifications such as BCA, ACG or NEBB, is desirable but not essential

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and authority regulations
