Commissioning Planning & Leadership

• Develop and follow the commissioning plan as per the EPC project requirements.

• Lead commissioning activities from mechanical completion to start-up and testing.

• Prepare and review commissioning and operating procedures.

• Coordinate with Construction, HSE, Operations, and Project teams.

• Guide and support commissioning engineers.

Technical Responsibilities

• Review PFDs, P&IDs, and other process documents.

• Ensure systems meet design and safety requirements.

• Conduct system checks, punch clearance, and acceptance.

• Handle utility commissioning, hydrocarbon introduction, start-up, and testing.

• Troubleshoot issues during start-up.

HSE & Safety

• Follow all safety rules, standards, and regulations.

• Participate in safety reviews (HAZOP, PSSR, etc.)

• Ensure safe handling of hydrocarbons and chemicals.

• Follow PTW and safety procedures during commissioning.

Coordination

• Act as the main contact for process commissioning with the client and vendors.

• Work with engineering, construction, and operations teams.

• Support training and handover to operations.

Documentation

• Review and approve commissioning documents and reports.

• Ensure proper system handover and final documentation.
