Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day commissioning and operational activities on site.
  • Coordinate startup, testing, and commissioning operations for plant systems and equipment.
  • Ensure commissioning activities are executed according to approved procedures, schedules, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor equipment and system performance during commissioning phases.
  • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Supervise operators, technicians, and contractor personnel during commissioning activities.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues during startup and testing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, operational procedures, and company standards.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, logs, and operational documentation.
  • Participate in system handover and operational readiness activities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Process, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in commissioning operations within industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or heavy industry projects.
  • Strong knowledge of plant startup, commissioning processes, and operational procedures.
  • Supervisory experience in commissioning or operations environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
