Employer: DNEmployer: DNV Job Summary The Communication Inspector is responsible for inspecting and monitoring telecommunications works related to OSP (Outside Plant) and PDS (Premise Distribution System) installations. Desired Candidate Profile

Roles & Responsibilities (R&R)

  • Inspect OSP and PDS telecommunications installations in accordance with approved standards and project requirements

  • Ensure compliance with BICSI-TDMM, Electrical Code (NEC), Electrical Safety Code (NESC), or equivalent international standards

  • Review drawings, inspection records, and installation methods for conformity

  • Monitor quality practices and ensure implementation of quality system standards

  • Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions

  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders during inspections

  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports and technical documentation


Mandatory Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering in the relevant inspection discipline with minimum 4 years of relevant inspection experience

  • Industrial / Technical College Diploma with minimum 8 years of relevant inspection experience

  • Proven experience in telecommunications inspections involving OSP and PDS installations

  • Familiarity with International Telecommunications standards

  • Experience in oil & gas projects and/or mega new building construction projects

  • Quality Management awareness with working knowledge of quality systems and methods

  • BICSI Communication Inspector certification or equivalent

  • ARAMCO CBT; Valid ARAMCO SAP Number and CBT details (preferred)
