Position Type: Full-time
The Compliance Associate will play a key supporting role in ensuring that Redwood Nursery- Noya part of Kids First Group (KFG) operate in full alignment with ADEK, KHDA, and MOE regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. Working directly under the Director of Compliance, this position provides critical administrative, analytical, and operational support across compliance frameworks, inspections, reporting, and training.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Inspections
Conduct internal compliance audits throughout the year.
Assist in preparing nursery for external inspections (ADEK, KHDA, MOE, DOH) by supporting with a readiness program.
Help maintain and update the Compliance inspection trackers, reports and OneDrive/SharePoint evidence folders.
Support the implementation of Corrective Action Plans following inspections or audits.
Monitoring & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and compliance data in designated trackers.
Draft compliance reports and summaries for review by the Director of Compliance.
Monitor timelines to ensure reporting and escalations are submitted within required deadlines.
Training & Support
Support delivery of compliance training sessions, workshops, and Coffee Clinic sessions for Nursery Director.
Provide first-line support to nursery team with compliance-related questions, escalating issues when needed.
Assist in developing and distributing compliance resources, checklists, and communication templates.
Policy & Process Support
Assist with policy rollouts, version control, and alignment of internal policies with ADEK s updated regulatory requirements.
Track and document implementation of health, safety, safeguarding, and operational policies.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by highlighting trends, gaps, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor s degree in Education, Business Administration, Compliance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good understanding of compliance, health & safety, or early childhood regulations (UAE experience preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/OneDrive).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic an advantage).
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
