Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the development and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Conduct compliance assessments, audits, and risk reviews, identifying gaps and recommending mitigation actions.
- Maintain and update the compliance risk register, ensuring risks are assessed, tracked, and mitigated.
- Provide expert guidance to business units on compliance matters, helping prevent regulatory breaches.
- Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness sessions for relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Legal, Internal Controls, and other departments to ensure regulatory alignment and process improvements.
- Support incident investigations and reporting, including potential policy violations or regulatory breaches.
- Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and industry best practices, advising management accordingly.
Job Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, CPA, CIA) preferred.
- Previous Experience:
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in compliance, internal audit, or regulatory roles.
- Experience in the Real Estate field is a plus.
- Special requirements:
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage complex compliance matters independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
- Core competencies: risk awareness, attention to detail, proactive mindset, business acumen.
Desired Candidate Profile
