Compliance Monitoring and Testing Officer Binance

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee compliance monitoring and testing frameworks in a second line of defense environment.
• Provide strong internal stakeholder management, managing stakeholders across Compliance and broader Binance teams with effective strategies, while navigating and balancing competing interests.
• Manage and negotiate with external stakeholders, ranging from regulators, auditors to industry bodies/associations.
• Critically evaluate processes for identifying, documenting, and assessing compliance risks associated with Binance's activities, providing strategic advice, and challenging as appropriate.
• Expected to stay abreast of regulatory and internal developments that affect Binance globally as well as locally, and develop strategies accordingly.
• Play a key role in determining the FCC risk profile, assessing their impact on internal projects, policies, procedures, processes, and systems.
• Actively contribute to and lead internal and industry-wide knowledge management initiatives, fostering the exchange of knowledge on evolving regulations, risk typologies, etc.
• Lead projects, ensuring the production of high-quality deliverables within agreed timelines.
• Raise challenges, provide different perspectives and innovative solutions; and at the same time, maintain and build professional relationships.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in the regulatory compliance / financial crime compliance domain.
• At least 1 year in a compliance/FCC monitoring & testing environment.
• University degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• ACAMS or ACFCS certification is an advantage.
• Strong project management skills and should be capable of leading projects, ensuring the production of high-quality deliverables within agreed timelines.
• Solid analytical and writing skills, and sound judgment.
• Good understanding of the FCC domain, the related processes, technology, and developments in the field.
• Capacity to participate in strategic initiatives and FCC oversight.
