Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust Compliance Program in line with CMA Kuwait regulations and best industry practices.
- Act as a key advisor to management by guiding the company on regulatory, compliance, and conduct-related matters.
- Monitor and assess the effective implementation of the Compliance Program across all business activities.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory, AML/CFT, and conduct risks.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures.
- Serve as a decision-maker on compliance-related matters, including escalations and regulatory interpretations.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees to promote regulatory awareness and a strong compliance culture.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to business teams to ensure compliance is embedded in daily operations.br>
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a compliance role.
- Previous compliance experience in the CFD/FX industry.
- Strong knowledge of the FX / Brokerage industry, including client onboarding, AML/CFT and business arrangements related matters.
- In-depth knowledge of Kuwait CMA local rules and regulations and applicable AML/CFT requirements.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and independent decision-making.br>
Desired Candidate Profile
