Key Responsibilities Operate and set up webbing / narrow fabric weaving machines for carbon and fiberglass tapes (60–110 mm). Must have hands-on experience with Dornier rapier looms (or equivalent industrial rapier machinery). Adjust and control warp/weft tension, speed, and take-up winding. Produce consistent rolls meeting width, GSM, and visual quality requirements. Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical issues (rapiers, guides, heddles, take-up, bearings, alignment). Troubleshoot basic electrical issues (motors, sensors, drives, wiring faults) and coordinate deeper electrical repairs when required. Perform routine preventive maintenance and support machine commissioning. Minimize scrap, downtime, and quality defects. Mandatory Requirements Proven experience on Dornier rapier weaving machinery (must be verifiable). Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify and resolve basic electrical and control-related faults. Experience with technical textiles, webbing, or industrial fabrics. Able to work independently on machine setup and problem-solving. Preferred (Strong Advantage) Experience with carbon fiber or fiberglass fabrics. Background in composites or technical textiles (not apparel). Ability to train operators and document settings.
