Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging, inquiry-led lessons that connect the local and global, the past and the present. You will guide students in understanding human and physical processes, analysing change over time, and developing a deep appreciation of global interdependence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with ICS s curriculum and learning principles.
  • Fostering curiosity, debate, and critical thinking through innovative teaching methods.
  • Using assessment effectively to inform planning and support student progress.
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Supporting students wellbeing through our pastoral care framework.
  • Contributing to co-curricular activities and school life beyond the classroom.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds a recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree.
  • Has a track record of excellence in secondary Computer Science teaching for KS3, iGCSE and Btec.
  • Builds strong, positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
