The Role

Working closely with our other digital and technology specialists, you ll contribute to developing a dynamic computing curriculum and strengthen the subject s presence across our school community. With experience teaching Computer Science to GCSE and A Level, you ll design engaging, future-focused learning experiences that build students confidence in coding, digital literacy, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

You will:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning aligned with the English National Curriculum.

Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential academically and personally.

Plan creative and challenging lessons that stretch every learner.

Use assessment and feedback effectively to ensure continual progress.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the department s curriculum.

Contribute to the school s vibrant co-curricular and enrichment programme.

The Ideal Candidate

A qualified teacher with a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent and PGCE/QTS (or equivalent).

Has at least 5 years' experience teaching the English National Curriculum in the Secondary phase.

An educator with a proven record of successful teaching iGCSE and A-Level, ideally within international or British curriculum schools.

Skilled at creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that challenge and support every student.

Confident in integrating technology to enhance learning experiences.

A collaborative professional who thrives in a diverse, forward-thinking team.
