Roles & Responsibilities


Job objective:


Providing comprehensive technical support to staff and students to resolve all issues related to technical equipment, systems, and networks. Ensuring the optimal performance of all technical equipment and computer labs, while contributing to the development of an advanced digital learning environment through the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence tools, and committed to providing high-quality services.


Job responsibilities and duties:


• Providing daily technical support and troubleshooting for user problems related to systems, devices, printers, interactive displays, networks, and more.


• Supporting school systems, and assisting in managing Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user accounts.


• Providing support to users in setting up, configuring, and installing desktop and laptop computers.


• Installing operating systems (OS), applications, and various programs and ensuring they are updated.


• Performing periodic data backups and continuous security checks on systems.


• Managing and monitoring the use of the internet, Wi-Fi, and wired (LAN) networks.


• Employing artificial intelligence (AI) tools and modern technologies to accelerate responses to technical support requests.


Terms:


• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.


• Must be of Omani nationality 


• Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows), applications (Office 365), and networking basics.


• Familiarity with modern technologies and artificial intelligence applications, and the ability to keep up with continuous technological development.
