Handle guests' requests for special arrangements or services (eg transportation, reservations, dry cleaning) by taking appropriate actions or identifying suitable vendors. Respond to special requests from guests with particular needs and follow up to ensure full guest satisfaction. Collect, summarize, and provide information to guests about the hotel and nearby services, including special events and activities. Record and respond to all guest calls, messages, questions, or requests and resolve their problems. Contact the relevant employee or department (eg bell attendant, housekeeping) to respond to guest calls and requests or resolve their problems. Review shift logs/daily notebooks and add all relevant information to the service logbook. Monitor the lounge-bar to ensure seat availability, service, safety, and guest well-being. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor; complete safety training and certifications. Follow and implement all company policies and procedures; ensure a clean and complete uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times while on duty; respect confidentiality in handling brand and/or hotel information and protect all company property. Greet and welcome guests according to brand standards, anticipate their needs and respond, assist people with disabilities, and warmly thank guests. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; prepare and review written documents accurately and thoroughly; answer telephones using appropriate language. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; unite and assist each other to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns. Comply with quality requirements and standards. Be accustomed to standing, sitting, and moving for long periods of time or throughout the shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 4.5 kilograms. Perform all other duties requested by supervisors that correspond to the position.
