Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct compressive strength tests on concrete cylinders, ensuring accurate and timely results, adhering to ASTM standards.
- Perform slump tests, air content tests, and other fresh concrete property evaluations to assess workability and consistency.
- Prepare concrete mix designs based on project specifications, considering aggregate properties, cement type, and desired performance characteristics.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting, to ensure optimal functionality and data integrity.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
- Holds a relevant certification, such as ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I, showcasing professional recognition.
- Has at least 1-2 years of experience in a concrete testing laboratory, indicating practical knowledge.
- Demonstrates proficiency in operating concrete testing equipment, including compression machines, slump cones, and air meters.
