Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Cone Penetration Test (CPT) Technician
Location
KSA
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate, maintain, and calibrate CPT rigs and sensitive electronic cone probes.
• Perform CPT soundings, seismic cones, or dissipation tests to measure soil properties
such as stratigraphy and strength.
• Record, process, and interpret field data using specialized software, ensuring accuracy
before submitting it to geotechnical engineers.
• Set up equipment at project sites, which may include marine/offshore environments or
areas with restricted access.
• Create detailed daily logs, boring logs, and field reports.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and company safety
standards.
Qualifications
• Geology degree or diploma
• Experience required as a CPT Technician or Geotechnical Technician with 2–5 years.
