Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Produce industry-relevant summit/conference and workshop programs

  • Manage the CPD accreditation for the programs delivered
  • Oversee onsite management of summit/conference and workshop programs at respective events, ensuring programs are delivered according to plan
  • Brief and oversee temporary staff involved in onsite delivery
  • Determine viability of proposed programs through research
  • Identify and liaise with key industry leaders, institutions and companies in relevant topic areas
  • Conduct effectively research with relevant industry professionals and the target market
  • Develop research into attractive draft programs
  • Contact and confirm identified speakers; maintain regular communication with them through various touchpoints to avoid last minute dropouts
  • Maintain and build relationships to curate best in class summits/conferences and workshops
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote programs and speakers
  • Work with the related Directors and other team members to produce new ideas for content programmes
  • Work closely with the sponsorship team by providing relevant leads and participating in sponsorship calls when necessary
  • Build relationships through networking with delegates and speakers at the event
  • Manage and build relationships with advisory board and industry associations
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably correspond to the role s responsibilities and level

Desired Candidate Profile

Skills Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience in content production for business-to-business events
  • Ability to quickly develop a competent understanding of diverse topics
  • Strong networking and information gathering skills
  • Excellent multitasking abilities
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Arabic speaker preferred

Desirable

  • Related industry/event knowledge
  • Business experience in the Middle East
  • Copywriting skills
  • Understanding of database marketing
  • Bilingual - Arabic/English
