Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional connectivity strategy aligned with Cepheid s solutions and regional healthcare priorities.
  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships, negotiating and collaborating with key stakeholders from Ministries of Health, institutional healthcare providers, and influential KOLs.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of international and regional healthcare guidelines, accreditation requirements, and economic studies relevant to Cepheid s connectivity and diagnostic solutions.
  • Collaborate with Middleware/LIS providers to ensure successful connectivity and integration with Cepheid systems, proactively addressing issues and implementing solutions.
  • Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting connectivity and integration issues remotely or on-site as necessary.
  • Conduct detailed ASTM/HL7/POCT1A data analyses to resolve LIS integration challenges.
  • Document, analyze, and resolve customer complaints using Cepheid s complaint management system.
  • Regularly visit customers to proactively address issues, provide training, and enhance product adoption.
  • Partner closely with internal teams (Sales, Technical Applications, and Product Management) to optimize customer experiences and connectivity workflows.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in healthcare IT, LIS, Middleware solutions, and connectivity within healthcare diagnostics.
  • Solid understanding of KSA/MENA healthcare IT infrastructures, local policies, and accreditation guidelines (e.g., CAP/CBAHI).
  • Hands-on experience with lab automation, middleware, LIS integration, and networking.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with key regional stakeholders, KOLs, and decision-makers.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare communication standards (ASTM/HL7/POCT1A).
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 30% within KSA and the broader MENA region, including occasional international travel.
