Roles & Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field

3 5 years of proven experience in construction accounting

Previous experience in construction or real estate companies is a must

Strong experience in handling:

  • Contractor payments and progress billings
  • Project BOQs and cost breakdowns
  • Contracts and work orders

Solid knowledge of:

  • Direct and indirect project costs
  • Cost control and budget monitoring
  • Suppliers and subcontractors accounts

Experience in preparing project-based financial reports

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP systems are a plus)

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong organizational and communication skills

Team player with a problem-solving mindset

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, cost control, and project financial management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with contract review, billing, and change order processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Familiarity with local tax laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
