Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the construction of sports facilities, including natural and artificial turf fields, athletic tracks, indoor halls, outdoor courts, and swimming pools.
- Coordinate with architects, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Supervise site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during the construction process.
- Manage procurement and installation of sports facility accessories and equipment such as scoreboards, lighting, and seating.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for stakeholders and management.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and global standards.
- Assist in the handover and commissioning of completed projects, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in construction or sports facility projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering design software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards in construction.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel to various project locations as required.
