Construction Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled Construction Draftsman to prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects. The candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and site teams to create accurate drawings and ensure project requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural, structural, and shop drawings using AutoCAD or other drafting software.

• Create and revise construction drawings based on project requirements and site conditions.

• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and site supervisors regarding design updates and technical details.

• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, local regulations, and project specifications.

• Prepare as-built drawings and maintain drawing records.

• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, and material specifications.

• Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of technical documents when required.

• Support project teams with drafting-related tasks during all project phases.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of all drawings and revisions.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Draftsman in the construction industry.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technical standards.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
