Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring safe handling and storage to prevent damage and maintain workplace organization.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer instructions for efficient task completion.
- Perform site cleanup, including debris removal, waste disposal, and maintaining a tidy work environment to promote safety and productivity.
- Transport materials and equipment to designated locations, utilizing appropriate methods and ensuring timely delivery for project progress.
- Provide support to skilled tradespeople by preparing work areas and fetching tools and supplies, facilitating their efficiency.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of temporary structures, such as scaffolding and barricades, following safety guidelines.
- Dig trenches, lay groundwork, and perform other basic construction tasks under direction, contributing to the project's foundation.
- Follow instructions and assist with tasks as directed by supervisors, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to changing needs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe and compliant work environment for yourself and others.
- Report any hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly, ensuring proactive risk management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proficiency in operating hand tools (hammers, saws, etc.) and power tools (drills, sanders, etc.) is required, for efficient task completion.
