Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform as a safety leader through setting and exhibiting the highest safety standards of behavior and actions to the workforce.
  • Actively participate in Toolbox Talks, Task Instructions and site safety walkthroughs.
  • Oversee site mobilization, manpower and resource planning, and execution of major construction packages.
  • Manage interfaces with engineering, procurement, commissioning teams, and contractors to ensure seamless workflows.
  • Review, comment and approval of construction related deliverables submitted by the Contractor.
  • Monitor progress, productivity, costs, change orders, and schedule, raising mitigation actions as needed.
  • Resolve field issues in collaboration with engineering and stakeholders especially those related to project operational and project logistics activities.
  • Evaluate Contractor performance, ensure deliverables and safety compliance, and manage inspections.
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, progress payments, and interaction with EPC contractors and consultants.
  • Assist in development of Project Execution Plan (PEP), Safety Plan, QA/QC plan specific to marine /dredging works and ensure adherence during construction phases.
  • Responsible for monitoring time and status of the material delivery at site.

Desired Candidate Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering.* 8 years experience in construction roles, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, and including 1 year experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor / sub-contractor / service / vendor personnel.br>* Extensive experience with Oil & Gas Companies, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry.* Experienced and competent in managing across all phases of project execution including start up and handover and managing technical issues.br>* Experience in berth design and Seabed dredging is an advantage.* Strong knowledge of EPC/EPCI process, codes (ASME, API), and constructability reviews, Risk assessments and Job safety analysis.br>* Proficiency with construction scheduling tools (Primavera/MS Project), cost tracking, and quality systems.* Fluent in written and oral English.br>* Strong leadership skills, personal integrity, experience guiding and assisting contractor teams.* Strong analytical, organizational, coordination and planning skills.br>* Good written and verbal communications skills and ability to interact / interface at all levels.* Good mediation skills include conflict resolution, problem-solving, creative thinking, influencing and empathy.br>
