Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement detailed construction plans, schedules, and budgets, aligning with project objectives, design specifications, and client requirements. Monitor and control construction progress to ensure the adherence to timelines and cost targets

  2. Oversee all on-site construction activities, including civil, mechanical, e&i, piping, and structural works, ensuring quality craftsmanship and compliance with engineering drawings, codes and standards.

  3. Lead and manage construction team, including site supervisors, engineers, technicians and subcontractors. Assign tasks, provide guidance and mentorship, foster a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.

  4. Implement and enforce strict HSE policies and procedures on site. Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, safety briefings and incident investigations to prevent accidents, injuries and environmental incidents.

  5. Manage subcontractor selection, evaluation and performance. Monitoring work quality, and ensuring timely completion of subcontractor tasks.

  6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams(engineering, procurement, quality, operations) to ensure seamless integration of construction activities.

  7. Troubleshooting construction related issues and develop effective solutions to minimize project impact.

  8. Manage documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, punch list, change orders in proper way. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor degree or higher in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  2. More than 10 years relevant experiences in petrochemical, oil & gas plant with at least 5 years of experiences in a construction manager roles overseeing large-scale gas plant start-ups.

  3. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale oil & gas plant construction projects from initiation to completion, on time and within budget.

  4. Solid experience in managing subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional eams in construction environment. Ability to negotiate contracts and resolve disputes.

  5. In-depth understanding of HSE regulations and best practices in oil & gas plant construction, with a proven track record of maintaining a safe construction site(Zero lost-time incidents preferred).

  6. Experience working with international cliens, multi-cultural teams. if have ADNOC experiences will be plus.
