Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of construction projects from initial planning to final execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, blueprints, and safety standards
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project specifications and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety and quality standards, addressing any issues proactively.
Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and making adjustments as necessary to avoid cost overruns.
Meeting regularly with clients, third parties and other managers to report on progress.
Regularly reviewing timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
Minimum of 14 years of hands-on experience in construction management, showcasing a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Possession of relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is highly regarded.
Experience in the specific type of construction (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial) relevant to the projects managed.
