Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations and coordinate all construction activities.
- Prepare work schedules, manpower plans, and resource allocation.
- Ensure work progress aligns with project timelines and contract requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
- Supervise site execution, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor productivity, progress, and quality of work.
- Resolve site issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards as per GCC regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
- Ensure the safety of workers, equipment, and the work environment.
- Ensure all construction work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.
- Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
- Monitor material usage, equipment deployment, and manpower efficiency.
- Control project costs and prevent wastage.
- Assist in preparing project reports, cost updates, and progress billing.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
- Maintain site documentation, logs, and records as per company and client requirements.
- Attend site meetings with management and clients.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with proven/ relevant real estate/ camp project/ construction experience; minimum 20 years’ experience in Oman/ GCC countries in site construction management and control of similar project value for Real Estate/
Infrastructure Projects.
