Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Our client, one of the top five Tier One main contractors, is seeking a strong>Construction Manager/strong> to oversee the delivery of a landmark infrastructure development in Saudi Arabia.
This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the Kingdom s Vision 2030 by leading one of the region s most high-profile civil and infrastructure projects.
strong>Key Responsibilities/strong>

strong>Project Leadership:/strong> Assume full responsibility for day-to-day site management, ensuring that works are executed in accordance with approved design, specifications, schedule, and budget.

strong>Programme Management: /strong>Develop, monitor, and control the construction programme to achieve milestones and completion targets. Anticipate and mitigate potential delays through proactive planning and resource management.

strong>Stakeholder Interface:/strong> Act as the primary point of contact for client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.

strong>Resource Allocation:/strong> Lead the deployment of labour, plant, and materials across work fronts to maximise productivity and maintain cost efficiency.

strong>Quality Assurance:/strong> Enforce strict adherence to international quality standards and company procedures, implementing robust inspection and testing regimes.

strong>Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):/strong> Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and company policies. Proactively manage risk, lead safety briefings, and conduct audits to achieve zero-incident performance.

strong>Contract & Commercial Awareness/strong>: Monitor project budgets, support commercial teams with claims and variations, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

strong>Team Leadership:/strong> Mentor and develop site engineers, supervisors, and other staff, fostering a collaborative environment and driving a culture of performance excellence.

strong>Reporting: /strong>Provide accurate and timely reports on progress, risks, resource utilisation, and cost forecasts to senior management and the client.
Desired Candidate Profile
strong>Experience: /strong>Minimum 15 years of progressive construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Construction Manager role on major civil or infrastructure projects (highways, bridges, metro, airports, utilities, or large-scale urban developments).
strong>Background:/strong> Proven track record with Tier One main contractors on complex, large-scale projects in the GCC or other international environments.
strong>Technical Competence: /strong>Strong understanding of modern construction methodologies, digital engineering tools, project scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred), and contract management systems.
strong>Leadership: /strong>Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
strong>Qualifications: /strong>Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. Chartership or professional accreditation is an advantage.
strong>Soft Skills:/strong> Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; ability to resolve conflicts and maintain strong working relationships.
