Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise all field construction activities related to compressor installation and associated civil, piping, and electrical works in live brownfield refinery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily site execution control and workfront coordination

  • Manage field construction teams (mechanical, piping, E&I, civil)

  • Shutdown execution coordination with 24-hour shift management capability

  • Ensure compliance with method statements, ITPs, and SABIC standards

  • Manage mechanical installation, piping tie-ins, and rigging operations

  • SIMOPS coordination in live refinery with Unit B operational

  • Oversee contractor manpower and productivity tracking

  • Mechanical completion and turnover to commissioning

  • Coordinate heavy lifting operations (150T crane, compressor skids)

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

  • 15+ years construction experience with 10+ years in KSA oil & gas

  • 8+ years refinery construction management in brownfield environment

  • Direct experience with SABIC/Aramco refinery operators or EPC contractors

  • Shutdown/turnaround execution in live refinery

  • PTW, SIMOPS, and H2S safety certification

  • Experience supervising mechanical installation and heavy rigging

  • Transferable Iqama

Preferred:

  • SASREF-specific experience

  • Reciprocating compressor installation exposure

  • NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification
