Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities related to Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) installation, ensuring projects meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules and budgets for WTG projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Develop and implement project-specific construction plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management strategies for WTG projects.
- Manage and control project budgets, track expenditures, and provide accurate cost forecasts for WTG projects.
- Lead and mentor on-site construction teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment for WTG projects.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, and permitting requirements for WTG projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies for WTG projects.
- Review and approve project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness for WTG projects.
- Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges, mitigating potential delays and cost overruns for WTG projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents with precision for WTG projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of WTG installation processes, including turbine erection, electrical connections, and commissioning.
