Roles & Responsibilities

Description of the company and the position:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leader in its sector of activity, a Construction Production Manager (The position is based in Casablanca).


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


BUDGET AND REPORTING:


Participates in the development of the production and investment budget relating to his department.

Participates in the development of the monthly provisional supply programme for his department.

Establishes a monthly production report and transmits it to his/her line manager.

Control and procedures

Contributes to the diagnosis of productivity or production management issues and implements corrective actions.

Controls the achievements at the quantitative and qualitative level.

Complies with the production procedures of the Stratification and Industrial Furniture Department, as well as the objectives.

Implements and complies with the procedures of the quality management system.

ACHIEVEMENTS:


Analyzes new product orders from the sales function.

Examines the file of the product to be manufactured and proposes any adjustments.

Evaluates the production processes to be implemented.

Provides Local and Export Sales Departments with an estimate of deadlines and allocated resources.

Initiates production orders within their department.

Provides the Scheduling Department with an estimate of the time and resources allocated.

Adjusts the production plan in the event of a delay or technical incident on a production line.

Executes the monthly production programs of the "Laminated Panels and Kit" Department.

Ensures compliance with the assigned manufacturing program (quantity/format/thickness/quality).

Coordinates material flows and corrects in case of deviations.

Controls and manages consumption (wood and glue): by making systematic calculations and material balances.

Monitors day-to-day activity by analysing progress indicators (graphical tables, etc.).

Measures the discrepancies between actual output and estimated forecasts.

Optimizes logistical aspects such as stock and supply management (quantity, availability, etc.).

Ensures the optimal distribution of resources and workload within the Lamination and Industrial Furniture Department.

Evaluates and coordinates the manufacturing potential of the machines (load, capacity, output, etc.) with the available human resources (reassignment of personnel, recruitment volumes, etc.)

Adjusts the production plan in the event of a delay or technical incident on a production line.

Ensures the delivery of orders on time, on cost and on quality.

Explains or resolves disputes in the event of delays or non-compliance in collaboration with the sales function.

Monitors compliance with the specifications by veneer suppliers in collaboration with the Quality Department.

Participates in the design and modernization of the production equipment in conjunction with the Head of the Production Department of the site.

Recommends adaptations of the industrial organization in accordance with the evolution of customer orders (products, product ranges, etc.).

Optimizes order fulfillment processes and the various stages of the supply chain.

Ensures the follow-up and improvement of the Lean process at the level of the Lamination and Furniture Department

Industrial.

Team management:


Monitors workload distribution (production of each week/section).

Evaluates their day-to-day performance and reframes their action in the event of deviations or non-compliance with standards and procedures. He motivates his team by recognizing the progress or performance made.

Listens to his team and ensures their motivation.

Ensures that procedures are understood and respected within their department.

Profile :

Formation:


Civil Engineering / Construction Engineer or equivalent.

Experiment:


Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the construction sector, ideally on construction and/or infrastructure projects.

Skills and Responsibilities:


Plan, coordinate and supervise production activities on construction sites.

Ensure the proper management of human, material and financial resources.

Guarantee compliance with deadlines, budgets and quality standards.

Implement and monitor site performance indicators.

Ensure strict compliance with the safety and regulatory standards in force.

Ensure communication and coordination with the various stakeholders (project owner, subcontractors, suppliers).

Provide technical and organizational solutions to optimize production.
