Consultant - Adult Psychiatry (Perinatal & General)

Position Overview A leading healthcare provider in Dubai is seeking an experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry with a special interest or expertise in Perinatal Psychiatry, alongside general adult psychiatry. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to a diverse patient population.

The successful candidate will play a key role in clinical service delivery, service development, and maintaining international standards of psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of adult psychiatric disorders
• Deliver specialised psychiatric care for perinatal mental health, including pregnancy and postnatal conditions
• Manage a varied caseload across outpatient and/or inpatient settings
• Work collaboratively with psychologists, nurses, obstetricians, and other healthcare professionals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
• Offer clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to junior medical staff where required
• Participate in service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance activities
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in line with regulatory requirements
• Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to ethical and professional standards
