Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced ENT Consultant specializing in Trauma and Head/Neck Surgery to join a leading hospital in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage complex ENT trauma cases, including facial injuries, penetrating neck injuries, and airway emergencies such as tracheostomies, while providing comprehensive surgical care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert assessment and management of ENT trauma cases, including:
    • Facial fractures and soft tissue injuries
    • Penetrating neck injuries
    • Airway management and tracheostomy procedures
    • Acute and complex head and neck surgical interventions
  • Perform elective and emergency ENT surgeries related to trauma and head/neck pathology
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
  • Collaborate closely with emergency medicine, maxillofacial surgery, anesthesiology, and intensive care teams
  • Participate in trauma case conferences, morbidity and mortality meetings, and clinical governance activities
  • Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and medical staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with hospital policies and DHA regulations
  • Stay updated with latest techniques and advances in ENT trauma and head/neck surgery

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution
  • Specialist training in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
  • Board certification or equivalent recognized qualification
  • Minimum 5 8 years of post-specialist experience, including trauma and head/neck surgical procedures
  • Demonstrated expertise in tracheostomies, penetrating neck injuries, and facial trauma
  • Eligibility for DHA (Dubai Health Authority) licensure
  • Strong surgical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
