1- Manage the assigned clinics as per the approved rota by Medical Director.

2- Responsible for initial assessment, requesting investigation, analyzing the rest results, diagnosis, treatment, and re-assessment on follow- up to reach a final diagnosis.

3- Admit the patients under his/ her care whenever indicated within the limits of the approved and assigned privileges.

4- Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness or disease.

5- Explain procedures and discuss diagnostic results or prescribed treatments with the patients and his/ her attendants.

6- Responsible for monitoring the patients' condition and progress and re-evaluate re-assessment and treat patient accordingly.

7- Refer patient to other specialists when necessary, also consult with, or provide consulting services to, other physicians whenever requested.

8- Take daily rounds for his/ her In-Patients and referred patients.

9- Document the patients complete medical record on time and also update the progress notes on same time.

10- Authenticate the medical records at initial entries and progress notes by logging in with own username and password in Patient Health Records.

11- Perform diagnostic or therapeutic procedures for which he/ she is specifically privileged according to his/ her qualification, licenses, training & experience.

12- Responsible for approving the Discharge Summary, follow-ups, Medical Report of his/ her patients.

13- Ensure the implementation of all the approved policies and procedures, rules, regulations, protocols and guidelines, clinical pathways that guide and support the provision of clinical services.

14- Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff in patient care.

15- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures as part of the continuous quality improvement of his/ her department.

16- Serve on Departmental / Hospital Committees as requested.

18- Be On-Call as per hospital policy, as needed and will assume the duties of Head of Department.

19- Responsible to attend the Code Blue (if applicable) and should be involved in all other emergency codes of the hospital.

20- Ensure that reports and information as required by the Head of the Department/ Medical Director are provided.

21- Responsible for identifying and appropriately transferring all the Medico-Legal Cases on time with all the proper documentation and information to the hospital management as per the hospital policy.

22- Participate in the provision of clinical / academic activities of the hospital.

23- Be regular and punctual in the duties assigned as per the schedule

24- Follow all hospital policies and procedures.

25- Obtain informed consent for all patients in accordance with hospital policy for the undertaking of any diagnostic procedure, operation, test or procedure

27- Provide orientation, bedside training and supervision to undergraduate and postgraduate trainees (interns, residents and fellows) as assigned.

28- Participate in self-and others education, training and development as applicable and department s educational activities and training programs of the department.

29- Participate in, and lead person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
