Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of gastrointestinal disorders using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate the latest evidence-based practices for conditions such as IBD, GERD, and liver disease.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures with precision, ensuring patient safety and comfort while achieving optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, including nutritionists and surgeons, to enhance patient recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal health, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to improve quality of life.
  • Stay current with emerging research and advancements in gastroenterology to integrate new therapies and technologies into practice.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MD or equivalent in Gastroenterology, with board certification and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant clinical experience in a tertiary care setting, with a focus on complex gastrointestinal cases.
  • Fellowship training in Gastroenterology from an accredited institution, emphasizing advanced endoscopic techniques.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Arabic or Spanish are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies, providing accurate and timely decisions.
