Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat GI and liver conditions
  • Provide outpatient consultations and inpatient care
  • Perform endoscopic procedures (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, etc.)
  • Interpret results and prepare procedure reports
  • Supervise junior doctors, nurses, and allied staff
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical ethics
  • Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Participate in research and publish findings
  • Teach and train medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Stay updated with advances in gastroenterology
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for complex cases
