Roles & Responsibilities

In this role, you will diagnose and treat digestive system disorders affecting the stomach, intestines, liver, and pancreas. You will carry out thorough assessments, perform diagnostic procedures like endoscopies, and create customized treatment plans for conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disorders. You are a committed and skilled gastroenterologist eager to advance your career in a dynamic setting.


  • Provide expert clinical care and management of patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopies and colonoscopies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Helps in professional development of all staff and provides teaching materials as part of the professional development of the staff;
  • Participates in assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient care needs;
  • Maintains a work environment that promotes high standards for patient care, customer service, and ethical behavior;
  • Undertakes all work in accordance with the procedures and operating policies, including Infection Control, Health and Safety, Risk Management etc.

Who you are
You are a dedicated physician with great knowledge of your specialty, looking to grow and develop even more professionally. With solid experience in providing expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to work long hours, often under pressure;
  • Ability to analyse complex information;
  • Active communication skills and the ability to effectively explain medical terms to patients;
  • A resilient and compassionate personality;
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Education & Qualifications:
    MBBS and Specialty degree and High Qualification (Specialty Diploma, Fellowship, PHD, European Board (American, Canadian, German, Irish & UK Board);
  • Not less than 20 years of experience, 10 years after the high qualification will get Consultant level license;
  • Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
