Consultant - PICU NMC healthcare LLC

Clinical Care Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. Perform advanced resuscitation, airway management, and life-support interventions. Oversee ventilatory management, hemodynamic monitoring, and other intensive care procedures. Lead daily multidisciplinary ward rounds, ensuring comprehensive patient management. Ensure safe transition of patients between PICU and other departments. Leadership & Teaching Supervise and mentor PICU medical staff, residents, and nursing teams. Provide training on pediatric critical care protocols, emergency procedures, and best practices. Participate in teaching activities, clinical workshops, and CME programs. Quality & Safety Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, hospital policies, and Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation standards. Participate in morbidity and mortality reviews, audits, and quality improvement initiatives. Promote infection control, patient safety, and ethical clinical practice. Collaboration Work closely with pediatricians, subspecialists (e.g., cardiology, neurology, surgery), and allied health professionals. Maintain effective communication with patients’ families, providing clear updates and compassionate support. Participate in hospital committees and strategic planning related to pediatric critical care services.
