Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert consultation on complex diagnostic cases, integrating laboratory findings with clinical information to guide patient management.
  • Oversee and interpret a wide range of laboratory tests, including hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and molecular pathology, ensuring accuracy and clinical relevance.
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance programs within the laboratory, adhering to accreditation standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with clinical colleagues, including physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize laboratory test utilization and improve patient outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in Laboratory Medicine or Pathology.
  • Hold a valid medical license and be eligible for licensure in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of post-training experience in Laboratory Medicine or Pathology, demonstrating progressive responsibility.
