Roles & Responsibilities

Consultant Neurosurgery
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon to join a leading tertiary care hospital in Dubai. This is a senior role involving management of complex cranial and spinal cases, within a high-acuity surgical environment.
Clinical Scope

  • Perform:
    • Cranial neurosurgery (tumors, trauma, vascular cases)
    • Spinal surgery (degenerative, trauma, deformity)
  • Manage acute neurosurgical emergencies
  • Provide outpatient consultations and follow-up care
Service Structure
  • Work within a multidisciplinary neuroscience team
  • Access to advanced imaging and surgical infrastructure
  • Collaboration with ICU, neurology, and rehabilitation
Additional Responsibilities
  • On-call participation
  • Supervision of junior staff
  • Contribution to clinical governance and audits
Requirements
  • Tier 1 / Western board certification preferred
  • Extensive consultant-level neurosurgical experience
  • Eligibility for UAE licensure
