Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for a range of eye conditions, leveraging advanced imaging technologies and diagnostic tools.
- Perform intricate surgical procedures, including cataract surgeries and retinal repairs, while ensuring optimal patient outcomes and minimal complications.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, taking into account each patient's unique medical history and lifestyle.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive eye care, coordinating with optometrists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Educate and counsel patients about their eye health, treatment options, and preventive measures to foster informed decision-making.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ophthalmology through continuous professional development and participation in research studies.
- Manage a diverse patient caseload, prioritizing urgent cases and ensuring timely interventions for patients with acute visual impairments.
- Conduct regular follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize care.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Medical degree in Ophthalmology, with completion of residency and fellowship training in subspecialties such as retina or glaucoma.
- Board certification in Ophthalmology, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
