Roles & Responsibilities

A leading healthcare institution in Riyadh is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist to join its multidisciplinary medical team. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, management, and treatment of endocrine disorders in infants, children, and adolescents while contributing to service development, teaching, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of paediatric endocrine disorders including:
    • Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes
    • Growth disorders
    • Thyroid disorders
    • Puberty disorders
    • Adrenal and pituitary conditions
    • Obesity and metabolic disorders
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations.
  • Develop individualized treatment and management plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings.
  • Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to training and mentoring.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with hospital standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and research activities where applicable.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirement: Western Qualified Doctors

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Western Board Certification (e.g., CCT, CCST, American Board, Canadian Board, Australian Fellowship, or equivalent).
  • Completion of accredited Fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology.
  • Minimum 3 5 years of experience at Consultant level.
  • Eligible for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory).
