Job Summary 

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology to join a leading tertiary healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide expert care for children and adolescents with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid, adrenal, and pubertal abnormalities, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care for pediatric patients with endocrine disorders, including:
  
  • Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes
  • Growth hormone deficiency and growth disorders
  • Thyroid, adrenal, and pubertal disorders
  • Rare endocrine and metabolic conditions
• Perform diagnostic assessments, prescribe management plans, and monitor treatment outcomes
• Counsel patients and families on disease management, lifestyle, and long-term care
• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, dietitians, nurses, and other allied health professionals
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor and supervise junior physicians, fellows, and residents
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with DOH and hospital regulations
• Stay updated with advancements in pediatric endocrinology and participate in continuing medical education
