Roles & Responsibilities

Consultant Pediatric ENT Surgeon role within a tertiary care environment, focusing on complex ENT conditions in children.

Clinical Scope

  • Surgical and medical management of:
    • Tonsillar and adenoidal disease
    • Pediatric airway disorders
    • Hearing and middle ear conditions
  • Perform procedures such as:
    • Tonsillectomy / adenoidectomy
    • Grommet insertion
    • Airway surgeries

Service Structure

  • Collaboration with pediatricians, anesthetists, and ICU
  • Participation in multidisciplinary pediatric care pathways

Additional Responsibilities

  • On-call participation (where applicable)
  • Teaching and supervision
  • Clinical governance involvement
