Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a Board certified, Fellowship trained, Tier 1, Consultant Pediatric Intensivist (PICU).

We are looking for DHA, DOH or MOH licensed Pediatric Intensivists with a minimum of 15 to 18 years of PQE. Arab Board, ABMS, RCPSC, CFPC, CCT, CCST, CSCST, FRACP, RANZCR, M Med, CMSA, FRC ( New Zealand, Australia ), Austria ,Belgium Diploma, Netherlands ( MRCS, HVRC,RGS ), Swedish Board, DES/CES/DESC ( France ), German Board / Facharzt / Oberarzt / Equivalent qualifications.

You would be responsible for performing and supervising advanced life-saving procedures and therapies, such as mechanical ventilation, intubation, central and arterial line placement, and continuous renal replacement therapy or ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) in specialized units. Oversee the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of life-threatening conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, severe trauma, and post-surgical complications.

Lead and collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, surgeons, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other subspecialists, to develop and coordinate holistic patient care plans. Provide prompt response to emergencies (e.g., Code Blue) and offer consultation services to other departments within the hospital and other facilities for the stabilization and potential transfer of critically ill patients. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients' families regarding complex diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognoses, ensuring a family-centered approach to care.

Actively participate in quality assurance, clinical audits, and patient safety initiatives, contributing to the development and revision of PICU policies, protocols, and clinical pathways. Supervise, mentor, and teach junior medical staff, including residents and fellows, as well as nursing staff, serving as an educational resource and role model. Engage in professional development, participate in clinical research and academic activities, and serve on departmental or hospital committees as required.
