Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive consultations to assess patients' needs, ensuring a tailored approach to surgical interventions.
  • Perform complex surgical procedures, utilizing advanced techniques in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, integrating both surgical and non-surgical options to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Provide thorough pre-operative and post-operative care, monitoring patients' recovery and addressing any complications proactively.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthetists and nursing staff, to ensure seamless patient care and safety.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in plastic surgery techniques and technologies, continuously integrating them into practice.
  • Educate patients about the risks, benefits, and realistic outcomes of procedures, fostering informed decision-making.
  • Engage in research activities to contribute to the advancement of plastic surgery and publish findings in reputable medical journals.
  • Ensure compliance with all ethical standards and regulations in practice, prioritizing patient welfare and safety.
  • Supervise and mentor junior surgical staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the department.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) followed by specialized training in plastic surgery.
  • Board certification in plastic surgery from a recognized medical board, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Experience in both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in an additional language preferred to enhance patient communication.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and precision in surgical techniques, crucial for successful outcomes in delicate procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adept problem-solving abilities, allowing for quick and effective decision-making during complex surgical scenarios.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through continuous education and active participation in relevant workshops.
  • Demonstrated compassion and empathy, ensuring patient comfort and support throughout their surgical journey.
