Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join a multidisciplinary mental health and rehabilitation service in Dubai. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with mental health disorders, addiction, and substance use disorders, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based treatment and ethical clinical practice.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams to deliver high-quality psychiatric care in both outpatient and/or inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnoses
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for patients with:
• Mental health disorders
• Substance use disorders
• Addiction and rehabilitation cases
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications in line with best practices
• Provide ongoing psychiatric reviews and follow-up care
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical documentation
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, ethical standards, and facility policies
• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support patient and family education where appropriate
