Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to develop accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for efficacy and potential side effects in a collaborative manner.
  • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic patient care and effective communication among healthcare providers.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients, employing evidence-based approaches to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in psychiatry from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in psychiatry, demonstrating advanced knowledge and clinical competency in the field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in psychiatric practice, with a focus on adult mental health.
  • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, showcasing versatility in managing diverse patient populations.
